Achilles Last Stand

It was a april morning
They they asked me to go
I looked at them, smiled back
How could i say no
With all the glory to have
To live the dreams that forever had
The immortal life to which i walk
THe realms of dead could it hold me back??

Fought with all skill and valor
Slayed many a warriors who stood taller
Greater than the gods
For i fought the fear of death
Till the day
They took my woman
My prize, the cost of my blood
The gift of God

Why should i fight
For a king that doesnt recognize my might
For a woman that someoene else stole
A king not man enough to save his wife
The Oracle assured me glory greater than life
I set my sail to lands beyond sight
Till the day
They took my woman
My prize, the cost of my blood
The gift of God

And i stood
As they slayed men of my king
A battle i despised
Was coming to an end with  me on the losing side
Then Gods played mischief and plotted
Death of my best aide
My rage knew no bound
Lost my woman and now my aide
A warrior all feared
Called Hector

He was brave,He had valor
But he called his death
I had to answer
Roamed around the walls of Troy
For days Nine and half
Called his name
Slayed any  that stood in my way

He answered my call
For a warrior he was
Walked to his death
WIth all the glory he had
Dragged his body till the day
The king came and asked for his son

If death be a gate to immortality
The great Achilles have to had
The weakest of all heels
A stray arrow
From men of even weaker heart
As i left my prints on the
Dunes of time

Thinking of all i did
Teh battles i fought
The women i slept
If all was worth
Even a fraction of glory that i got.
